Meet Giorgio
Giorgio Baldini is a student, athlete, and artist living in Northern California who practices realism through drawing and painting. During the Coronavirus pandemic, he started commissioning family and friends’ pets. At the start of the new year in 2022, he decided it was time to start Giorgio Baldini Art as a small art commission business. It includes the website and YouTube channel released. He entered his piece Fall Patch in the Yountville Youth Art Exhibit and participated in the 2021 and 2022 Memory Project. Colored pencils are his favorite medium, and two of his pieces, Tree in Time and Our Women, were accepted into the Yountville Art Museum Exhibit Know No Barriers. In 2023, he was chosen to submit one of his pet commissions, Stomi to The American Diabetes Association®. Stomi is located on the front cover of Diabetes Journal, Volume 46, Issue 4, April 2023. He also uses Pastels, Watercolors, and Acrylics. Giorgio looks forward to continuing to explore and develop more art and educate others with his knowledge and skills today.
Aside from creating art, he enjoyed running on the cross-country team at Justin-Siena high school and competing in Track and Field. His personal record in the mile was 5:30 and 19:02 for the 5K run. Not only has he demonstrated a deep interest in athletics, but earned eight Outstanding Academic Achievement awards at Justin Siena in two consecutive years. Today he attends University of California, Berkeley to study engineering. Currently he is on the Cal Steel Bridge ASCE competition team.
